The feud ends because the tragic death occurs. Since fate intervenes the Prince and the both families find the full truth about the events leading to the death of Romeo and Juliet. The enmity between the Montagues and the Capulets ends as a result of Friar Lawrence explaining all the events leading to the death of the two star-crossed lovers.
