Tullius refuses, and Elenwen threatens to tell the Emperor. Does Tullius care? After taking Windhelm, Tullius has a line of dialogue that basically states that the Empire is wary of the Thalmor, and are preparing for the Second Great War.
True Empire face after Alduin Killed by Dragonborn. About Stromcloacks, I agree they war because the Empire just corruption and for themself not helping people. That's why solstheim people say Empire coward also from East Empire Company in that place same say. Ulfric say in last war in battle in solitude and not banish the Jarl Elisif but care to helping it and know the situation made chaos because Empire using plan provocation to made destroy for stromcloacks and Empire secret still hiding from survivor villagers.
If Empire side, Tulius and Rikke not helping they plan to try banishing Elisif. For me, I join Stromcloacks but my role as Dragonborn is end first. But Empire still evil because they just help for themself.
Only if Stromcloacks side like dark elves or maybe not. I sided with ulfric. The more power you give to people at the top for how you live your life makes you weaker and at your knees to them if you need someone to take care of you then the emperor's are the way to go, but if you want freedom and diversity of autonomous individuals this does nothing those hurting, already stuck, or in a bad way, but gives everyone freedom of choice and no fear of authority unless others see you going against the common values in place good or bad.
I'm ulfric all the way. Science and doing good to get good things the perversion of good won't give you anything, but bitterness resentment, and consumption. It's rather complicated I think.
I believe there's good and evil on both sides, however I think that the empire is just trying to keep the peace. They know that they couldn't win a war against the Thalmor and as a last resort the Imperial Legion had to make that compromise. The Stormcloaks aren't necessarily evil and there decisions are made from the heart.
The whole crisis isn't black and white that's for sure and you can't blame the Stormcloaks for Rebelling because banning one's God is very personal. They're all Daedra worshipers, slave owners and treat non elves as if they're animals.
And even they rant as bad as the Thalmor, who by the way are being supported by the empire,. He truly cares about his cause, his people and his country and believes, and knows, he's doing the right thing. Tulius meanwhile is an arrogant, careless, culturally insensitive, snobbish deuche. When I came into castle dour for the first time, I overheard him wining about Nords and they're "damn sense of honor".
Furthermore, considering the way that he is governing solitude instead of Elisief, I'm pretty certain that after he wins the civil war he was planning to usurp the throne of Skyrim for himself. I think that last part was a little bit uncalled for. I may be misunderstanding the way you spoke, but it sounded like you said that different races in the real world ie. Latina, Caucasian, etc. My point is Translation: I'm a Talos worshipper and imperial, can the Thalmor take away Talos from me? NAW, they'll just put their useless lives in danger.
I think everyone hates Ulfric because he pointlessly kills other nords who don't agree with him like Rikke who actually sems to be a decent person and he deposes Balgruf just because he refuses to fight imperials. I consider him a filthy traitor who simply desires the throne. Nationalism is fine, but the Stormcloaks don't like anyone who isn't a Nord. For example, if they take Whiterun, Adrienne Avenicci and Arcadia both see their businesses decline simply because they are Imperials. Adrienne even says that if she wasn't married to a Nord, she'd be out of business completely.
Whiterun and Balgruuf were determined to stay neutral in the fight, but Ulfric declared that he would attack the city if it didn't side with him. Finally, I'm pretty sure all he wants is the throne. In game sources also suggest that it is the Dunmer who are refusing to integrate with the Nords in Windhelm, as in Riften also Stormcloak they are living comfortably.
As I mentioned they have valid reason to hate the Dunmer but during Skyrim the Dunmer are refugees and Argonians are not. If they were willing to live peacefully then they would probably be allowed to live inside Windhelm. Also, he still allows Argonians to live in Windhelm just on the docks and not inside the Walls.
The Altmer: Ulfric has very valid reasons to dislike the Altmer, he is a veteran of a great war vs Aldmeri Dominion. Was tortured and misled to believe he cost the Empire the imperial city by the Altmer but most importantly the Altmer banned Talos It is understandable to use why they want to ban Talos worship.
Yet with all this considered Altmer can still live comfortably in Windhelm as evidenced by Niranye. Therefore, Ulfric is the rightful High King of Skyrim. The lore in the elder scrolls is vast so I have more that likely missed something, which is why I am opening to having my mind changed. Also, if it was not obvious, I am very bored, elder scrolls 6 when? Also, I know this debate is brought up often and usually the thread is filled with salt.
